Size Chart
Start with the actual item
Read the item's size chart, fit description, measurements, material information and care instructions. The same size label can fit differently across cuts and products. This guide explains selection methods; it does not supply a universal numerical size chart or promise fit from a photograph.
Understand the measurement type
Check whether the chart gives body measurements or finished garment measurements. They are not interchangeable. A garment may include room for movement, gathering, shaping or layering that is not part of the corresponding body measurement.
For body measurements, use a flexible tape and maintain a natural posture without pulling the tape tightly. For garment measurements, lay a similar item that fits well flat and measure without stretching. Follow the chart's specific starting points and units. A flat width is different from a full circumference.
Compare the relevant areas
Depending on the item, useful measurements may include bust, waist, hips, shoulders, sleeve length, rise, inseam and garment length. Use the points defined for the actual product. A chart for a top may not use the same method as one for a dress, skirt or trousers.
Consider which measurement is most relevant to the cut. A close-fitting design, loose silhouette and adjustable style can fit differently even when one measurement is similar. Do not rely only on usual size, height or weight.
Length, construction and fit
Check where garment length is measured from and whether straps or other features are adjustable when stated. For layered outfits, consider how you intend to wear the item. Review information about closures, lining and construction where provided; do not infer them solely from a styled photograph.
If a particular coverage, length or fit is important, ask us about the item before purchasing. We cannot establish those details accurately from appearance alone.
Material and stretch
Review the actual material and any stated stretch information. Do not assume that every fabric stretches, that every color has the same visual appearance on a screen, or that one garment behaves like an earlier purchase. Lighting and display settings can affect photographs, while our responsibility to describe and supply goods accurately remains unchanged.
Trying on and changes
Try the item on carefully before washing, normal wear or alterations. Keep supplied tags and accessories where applicable while deciding whether to keep it. Avoid pulling or forcing closures. Alterations may affect commercial return eligibility, but do not automatically remove mandatory rights or remedies for defective or misdescribed goods.
Care and storage
Follow the actual care label, including directions relevant to trims, lining and material. Do not assume every garment tolerates machine washing, tumble drying, bleach, high heat or dry cleaning. Wash, dry and store as directed. Ask about unclear instructions before using an unsupported method.
Help and product concerns
